The spirit, inspiration, and material source for many of our products and services comes from a forty acre farm in Noble County, Ohio and the surrounding woods, pastures, creeks, and barns.

The Products
Our furniture, installations, and rustic designs celebrate the form and voice of the natural materials from which they are made. For example, the toppling of three cherry trees by high winds led to a varied set of pieces we call our "Crash of Cherry Series."
Poplar, oak, ash, cherry, sycamore, beech, and maple are common woods available and waiting for discovery on our land. We also make use of slab wood from local mills, bittersweet and grape vines that drape the trees in our woods, and beams and slate salvaged from 19th century barns throughout Ohio.

The Services
Our workshops in creative expression include rustic design classes where participants create their own pieces out of natural materials that we provide. Popular items for one day workshops include garden trellises, simple benches and tables, wreaths and other portable pieces.
Creative writing workshops for adults use nature as the touchstone for personal essays, fiction and poetry. Participants explore their relationship to the natural world and discover the many ways that nature acts as a mirror for issues of the soul. Workshops for children include nature journaling and imaginative writing inspired by fairy tales and fantasy.
